My experience as a Military child has been good and bad, it has both its ups and downs, some of the good parts about being a military child are that you travel the world and you get to see new places and try new things. Whenever I was in elementary school around every 3 months they would take military kids to a room and those kids would take a survey about whether the school had done a good job of making sure the military child felt safe in the school and if you were comfortable or not and they would often give you some sort of gift card in exchange of taking the survey which was often nice. And it was. But there are also a lot of bad things as well, I have moved around 6-7 times in my life due to being a military child and something that sucks is having to move away from all of your friends that you had made without knowing if you are going to see them again. And also switched schools often mid-school year and when I had lived in the States I did not attend a DODEA school when I moved to Okinawa what I was learning was completely different which was hard and caused me to fall behind. But I think that’s normal for most military children.
