Killin Elementary School
It is sometimes hard to be a military child because of deployments. For example, one day my dad went on deployment and I am pretty sure that that was the worst day of my life and then he was gone for 118 days! That is like forever! He went on deployment twice. It was hard on my mom. Another reason it is sometimes difficult to be a military child is because of moving. Moving is hard because you sometimes move away from family members and you move away from your school and your friends! It is sad but I am good at making friends so it is not as hard for me!
However, it can also be an amazing experience to be a military child because you get to see more places than most kids do. I’ve been lucky enough to go to Bali, Taiwan, Universal Studios, Super Mario World, Legoland Japan, Disneyland Japan, Disney Sea, Hiroshima, Ishigaki, and Okuma., as well as many other cool places! It is cool and sometimes when my family members come to visit I can show them our life in Japan. For example when my nana and papa came to visit we showed them Okinawa World and we went to Disneyland Japan and Disney Sea and we showed them our life!
