I live as a military child. My dad has been in the military since before my mom and dad got married. When I was little my dad would get deployed for 6 months or more and my mom would have to take care of me. He would miss a lot of holidays but he has to work. He has no choice but to go to work. I grew up in Okinawa and lived there for 4 years but then I learned that we have to move. I was sad because I liked it in Okinawa. I hated meeting people because I didn't really like socializing. But when I started to get older, I started to like socializing. I like being a military child because my dad makes me feel safe but sometimes when he comes home, he's very tired.
