Hi! I'm Josephine Johns, a third grader, and I want to tell you about my awesome trip to Colorado. My family works for the military, so we live in two different places. Right now, we’re in Japan, but I used to live in Colorado.

Guess what? I went back to Colorado to visit my family. First, we stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge. It's a hotel with a huge waterpark inside! Then, my dad treated us to ice cream, even though it was super cold outside because it was snowing. I haven't played in snow since we moved to Japan, so I was super excited. My sister and I had a big snowball fight!

We got more ice cream and took a taxi to Canon City. It's where my relatives live. The trip was long and I fell asleep, but when I woke up, we were there! I was so happy to see my family. We hugged a lot and played games. It felt great to be with them again.

Being a military kid means I get to have adventures all over the world, like my trip back to Colorado. I love it because I get to see my family and have fun, no matter where we are.
