They set out to sea without me. Sitting sipping on my tea waiting for something. I look out to the gentle breeze feeling like a leaf. Always moving, not sleeping, only looking for that special something. Yet still no luck searching. Every time I find a hint it turns out to just be a pit. Part of me lost with each attempt. Eventually fractured I finally see right in front of me. My emptiness supplanted by new joy once unseen. Finally free from never being able to see the things around me. Whole once again like a tree I dig my roots down to stop all this hopeless traveling. Now tired I rest in this finale and start again. Yet like ouroboros it seems to repeat every generation.
