Hi I’m Zoey, I will be writing about being a military child and my experience. My dads a marine. I have lived in California, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and I'm currently living in Okinawa Japan. I’m going to move to Iwakuni Japan. I don't like change. I like music, drawing, musical theater, marine biology, writing, science, playing video games, and I like computer technology/computer science.
What do I like about being a military child? Making friends is definitely one, I've met some of my best friends, and I also get to meet people with the same interests as me! I also get to travel A LOT. I love living in Okinawa for their beaches. I love marine biology. It's also fun to go swimming with fishes. I like Okinawa because they have aquariums, but sometimes they mistreat marine life.
What do I dislike about being a military child? Seeing friends leave, my friends move away a lot but we still stay in touch! I can text or call them. I also dislike leaving places, like Massachusetts. I owned horses there but I couldn't bring them to Okinawa, so they are being leased out. I dislike leaving pets in places.
In conclusion, I don't like being a military child because I meet friends and then have to leave them. I also might not like the places I go to. But I like being a military child because you get to travel to different places. This was my experience as a military child.
