Hello, my name is Haley, I am 10 years old and I am a military child. There are good and bad parts of being a military child; the good is that you get to travel all over the world. But the bad is that you have to leave your friends all over the world.
Moving advice Moving is very hard, I have done it plenty of times and it is still hard for me. But you have to think positively about all the new things that you're going to do at that new place. Also think about all they shopping you get to do when you get there because you got rid of most of the stuff .You can still call/text your friends and you can also send a letter.
The challenges! There are some challenges, and there are also hard things like making new friends. It has always been hard for me.
The celebrations There are many celebrations in the military, like when my dad has a unit Christmas party and Easter Egg Hunt. One of my favorite things is when my dad gets promoted. Promoted means when your parent goes to a higher level . It also fun to find out where you are moving. I have moved to California and North Carolina .
I hope you enjoy all the things you learn and about moving, celebrations, and advice. There is a lot more but that would take a long time.
