Hi, my name is Eason and I’m a military child. I like and I don’t like parts about being a military child. For example, I don’t like being away from my family but I like traveling the world.

I have lived in three different places. I have lived in North Carolina, Wisconsin, and finally Japan. My favorite place out of all of them has been Japan. Japan is so beautiful. The food is great, most of the time it is clear skies, you can catch lots of fish, see animals that you can’t anywhere else, and their culture is amazing.

The place I've lived with the most extreme weather is Wisconsin. Did you know that in Wisconsin the temperature can get below 0? Also every year there is at least one blizzard.

If you are not a military child nor are familiar with the military lifestyle, I’m going to explain the pros and cons about being in this community. Some of the cons are never staying in one place, leaving your friends, being away from your family, and having your parent deployed. Some of the pros are making new friends and living near your family members.

These are the things about being a military child. I really like that you can live in the same location twice. This July I will be moving back to North Carolina and I'll be able to see my grandparents, cousins, and other family members. Overall, I like being a military child.
