2024/Grace-

Hello my name is Grace, I'm 11 years old and I live in Japan. As a military child, here is some advice that can help. Number 1, be nice to everyone. And finally don't be so sad when you have to move. I get it, it stinks but you will maybe have a better life in the new place you're living in.

Now for the challenges, it might be cool to be a military child but there are a lot of challenges that me and a lot of other military children had to go through. For me I have to move a lot and leave friends, family, and even some of my pets behind. Also I have to learn new languages so I can talk to workers at stores and talk to new people I meet. And finally the last challenging thing that other military children and I have to go through is that parents are always deployed. My dad is deployed a lot and he even missed my birth because he was deployed.

Since I am a military child I have to move a lot and I have visited and lived in many places. Here are all the places I have lived. I have lived in North Carolina, California, Texas and finally Japan/Okinawa. Now for the places I have visited. I have visited Florida, Bali, Tokyo Japan, and more places that I can't remember. This is what it's like to be a military child.
