Hi my name is Sophia and I am here at Zukeran Elementary school. I live with my mom, dad, and my two sisters. I was born in California. A good thing about being a military child is that I am able to travel.

Now I am going to tell you more of the disadvantages of being a military child. First is that you can’t see your friends in person but you can call them, that’s how I talk to my friends in my old school. Second is that I have to leave my grandparents, aunts, and uncle. The third is that your dad may have to go to a place for work for a long time. The last thing is that I have to move schools and make new friends, and sometimes it takes time to get used to it.

Now let's get into the advantages of being a military kid! We can travel around the area and try new food there. The second thing is that we can make more fun and funny memories. The third thing that is good is that we can go to places we have not been to. We have been to North Carolina, California, and of course we are currently in Okinawa! The Last thing that is good about being a military kid is that you can make new friends like I have found my best friends Mila and Robin. Also if you think of it you can learn things on a journey.
