I am a fifth grader

I wonder why I have to move a lot

I hear my friends saying please come back

I see people coming and going

I want to stay in one place

I pretend that my friends are still with me wherever I go

I feel sad when I have to move

I worry that I will never see my friend again

I cry when I move away from my friends

I understand people's feelings

I say hi to new friends

I dream of seeing all my friends again

I try to persevere when I move

I hope to see my friends again

I am a military child
