Military children like me have been through tough times by being military children. When I was young and had to move far away from all my friends, I was confused about why we were leaving our home where we had been for so long. But I'm glad I got to see new cultures and meet new friends from all around the world! My mom or dad did not give me the answer just to not hurt my feelings since we were not going to be there anymore and not see my family and friends for a long time to come. We military kids have made sacrifices that we did not want to make. Once I knew why I was Confused “ But why though? It does not make any sense!” My mom had confessed “Because the army needs your dad in that country. I know this sounds bad but we are gonna be back. Promise.” I'm so glad she had kept her promise. But that promise was when I was 5. I'm now 11 and we are gonna finally visit! and visit my friends again! Being a military child has a type of bitter-sweet taste. It has ups and downs. And when you finally go there and visit again it all feels like home all over again. That's why being a military child has good and bad feelings. Like a mixed feeling. Thats why I like being a military child.
