As a military child, my life has been exciting but hard in many ways. It is exciting because I get to explore many different places, try new foods, things and activities. I get to see different cultures with its distinctive characteristics. For example, I got to go to London and go to museums where I discovered and learned a lot about natural history. And one of the most interesting things about me is: I was born in New York but have spent most of my time in Texas, California and now in Europe as a kid. However, it also has been hard because of moving, you have to leave behind a lot of other good things to start with a new one. You can lose many things during the process, not just your bond with your old house or school but you could also lose your friends and maybe even forget them. I once had to leave my best friend and I was so sad when I moved to Germany. But once you get used to that, at the end, it’s not that hard because when I moved, I could have a lot of new friends. Despite many difficulties, I am always proud to be a military child. That is my point of view of being a military child. Ryan Tran
