The life of a military child can be sad, tiring, exciting, and freeing. One reason it is sad is because you must leave your friends and sometimes even your family. It is tiring because you must move every 3 years and you have to pack all your stuff and then unpack it all again. It is exciting because you get to go to different places. It is freeing because some places are safer than others. One thing you can do is travel to places in Japan like Osaka, Tokyo, and Yokohama and other places too.

As a military child, we move a lot. We moved to places like Hawaii and Japan. You get to go to different schools whether it is DoDEA or not. Some bases are really nice, but some are not nice, but we get free healthcare. When we move to different places, we get to meet different people and learn their culture. Sometimes they have different stories to tell.

You can also try lots of new things and experiences as a Military child. Some new things that I did was try new foods, Gadgets, and I used chopsticks. Some new foods I tried was Gyakinki, Focoyaki, and Ramen. When I tried to use chopsticks for the first time ever, I was bad at it but now I am good at it. Some gadgets I use was dog gadgets like tiny sunglasses, tiny Sunhats, tiny dog clothes and normal gadgets too like lunch stuff. One of them was themed toothpicks and characters raper from Daiso. And some safety gadgets too like this tiny alarm or Japanese cards that say I am lost. Coming to Japan was a great experience for me and my family and I wish we could stay longer but that’s the military and if I can’t stay longer, I would Come back.

As you can see being a military child has a lot of mixed emotions it could be bad, or it could be bad.
