Ikego Elementary School
My life as a military child is awesome because I get to have many different opportunities to meet different people and to do different things.
When you're a military child you can meet a lot of new people and you can always make new friends. I always make new friends everytime I move to a different school and I enjoy going to different places and meeting new people. During the second quarter I met this girl named Jaci and she moved here to Japan and we became best friends, even though she didn't stay long we are still friends.
When you are a military child you get school events and afterschool clubs that are so fun and educational. The after school clubs can have fun learning games, math games, engineering, choir or archery. These are just some of Ikego’s after school clubs and activities. My friends and I have signed up for choir and it is so fun. We have a performance soon and we are so excited to perform. My friends are also signed up for robotics and they said it is so fun because they get to build stuff.
When you’re a military child the teachers and counselors are great teachers and always encourage you to do activities and help you with any problems you may have in life. The counselors teach valuable lessons about child safety, how to stay safe and stuff that can happen to you. It is important to pay attention to the lesson so it can help you.
