Being a Military Child is so much fun. You get to see and learn about so many other cultures. I started being a military child when I was two years old. At the age six, I went to my dad’s workplace somewhere in California. I also went inside a tank, I saw so many buttons. I wanted to drive the tank because it was so cool, but my dad said no. Another thing about being a Military child is you get to have your own month. The month of April is called Month of the Military Child. Every Friday we get treats. People wear purple to celebrate the month of the military child ,because the military protects them. The sad part is that your mom or your dad might have to be TDY. You might even have to move because of your mom or dad’s job. I don’t like moving because I will have to leave my friends. The good thing is that I’ve been to so many places thanks to the military. I have been to California, Colorado, Arizona, Missouri, and Japan. Now in the summer, I'm going to Hawaii. Overall being a military child is fun! I love being a military child because I know that I'm safe and loved.
