Making new friends can be hard, but I found that if you try to make friends and talk to new people you can find a best friend.The night before my first day of school I was very scared and nervous.The next day when I walked into HCES for the first time I was scared, nervous, and worried. When I got inside the classroom I sat down next to three other people. I started talking to one of them. We found out we have a lot in common and we knew we would be good friends. So we became friends. Later that day we went to P.E. The coach assigned groups of two and I started talking to my classmate that was in my group. She asked me if I wanted to be her friend so I said yes. Soon I became friends with the whole class. This school year when my teacher was taking attendance she called my best friend’s name. I hoped it was my best friend, and a few minutes later she walked into the classroom! We were so excited to see each other! Making new friends can also be very easy if you think about it.
