Why do we have to wear purple for the month of the military child? During the Month of the Military Child in April, people are encouraged to wear purple as a visible way to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices, as purple symbolizes all branches of the military.

Month of the Military Child" to honor and recognize the unique sacrifices and resilience of military children, who face frequent moves, deployments, and other challenges due to their parents' service.
