I woke up to hear we were moving

Of this, I am disapproving —

We do it a lot

And I wish we could stop —

Now of that I would be approving

See, my dad works in the military

It’s equally fun, tiring, and scary

We move every 3 years

Lots of bittersweet tears

Now moving just feels so ordinary
