I am a military child,

The adventures are wild.

Sometimes I don’t get why I moved.

But now I know all the things I can do.

I used to be mad and sad.

Then one day my mom told me that this is an opportunity

To explore the world and to see new things.

So, I took a moment to think.

I remembered I stayed in contact with my friends.

Now, I think Korea is the best.

I still miss my friends and tackle football

But now I think I am the ball.

Getting thrown place to place

And exploring places that I thought I would never see.

It’s like the perfect dream.

When I move from Korea I will always remember,

I will be the light, I will be an ember.

So, now I will always be happy no matter what,

Because my family will always be my map.
