2025/Miko -

My name is Miko. I enjoy playing Fortnite on my Nintendo Switch with my friends. My favorite food for dinner is stir-fry. My favorite sport is football. I also like soccer and basketball. I don't like baseball because I'm not fast paced. My favorite after-school snack is pretzels with peanut butter. I like living in Japan because of the good food; my favorites being sushi and Yakiniku. My favorite dessert is popcorn, because it's healthy and buttery. The one thing I like to add to popcorn is kettle corn.

For the past few days, the bottom of my foot from my toe to my heel hurts. I think it was because of my shoes. The job I want in the future is being a Police Officer because I want to catch bad people.

An Interview With My Dad

My dad’s name is Jimmy Robert Davis. I sat down to ask my Dad about how he felt about being in the Military. Here’s what he had to say.

My name is Jimmy Davis, and I am Miko’s Dad. I work on the gas turbines for the Navy as a Marine Gas Turbine Inspector.

What I like the most about working for the Navy is the job I have learned, and being able to provide for my family. Being able to travel the world is a great perk too!

The most interesting thing that I have seen in the Navy is transiting through the Panama Canal on a ship.

I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games with my son and daughter. Family trips throughout Japan are the best! There is so much to see and do in Japan, and I love experiencing it with my family. Sushi and Yakiniku are a shared love with my son, Miko. Every Sunday we go out for Sunday lunch after church. We love trying new places.
