I am not a military child, but I am a military connected child. My grandpa is a retired Colonel in the Air Force. My mom was also in the Air Force a long time ago but she was only in for a short time.

Being a military connected child allows me to go to Andersen Elementary School so I learn how to use the computer and I can get a lot of knowledge such as reading my close reader. Most kids can’t get to see how fun Anderson Elementary is unless you are a military connected child.

One example was to see the jets when we went to Pet the Jet. I saw a lot of jets and airplanes, but sadly I got fiberglass on me so a lot of people had to go to the nurses office, but I enjoyed my time there. I saw F16, F20 and F18 airplanes.

Another reason I am special for being a military connected child is I can watch dolphin news. I saw that the General was on dolphin news. I own a beach on base called Jinapsan Beach and the General came to my beach and I thought that was cool. It was a very good experience meeting the General. He is one of the many leaders who serve and protect our country.

There are so many reasons I am special for being a military connected child, but it’s being good friends with other military connected children that makes me special.
