My dad works for DoDEA, meaning that I am not technically a Military Child. I’ve never been to another country other than Japan. Even though I am not one myself, I still have a different experience going to a military school. Many of the students come and go throughout different parts of the world. I’ve had plenty of friends, but every year or so, they usually have to leave for a different school from all the way to a different part of the world. There's always a chance I'll never see them again. Though it does sound devastating to some, I see it in a positive way! If they get to travel around various schools, it's a better chance that they will have opportunities to meet new people!
