I believe being a military child is amazing. It's an opportunity to witness the vast world and culture that surrounds us. It gives us children the opportunity to see what other things are in the world then what we see. But like all things there’s disadvantages to it. I also believe that being a military child is like being a hammer and when you smash something, every piece of it is a family member or friend that you love, but must be left behind in the trash until it's recycled. And you the hammer are put in a tool box, till you come back from your long stay far away from the home you love and miss. It leaves a deep hole in your heart and it never leaves. Because when you leave to come home again. you leave the friends you made in Okinawa. But yet again being away is not all bad it can also lead to new and great opportunities for children's future and life. And you can try new and exciting things. The big hole in your heart will be stitched up by the great opportunities here in Okinawa, Japan. You never know what things you get to witness. Most kids can only dream of being in Japan, but we get to be here. explore the vast wonders of Okinawa while we all still have the chance. Because our parents sacrificed a whole lot, and worked a whole lot just for us.
