To me, being a military child is amazing! It is awesome because you get to travel the world for a long period of time. Another reason is because you get to have a lot of friends. Third, you get to experience a lot of different cultures. Last, you get to say that you have friends all over the world.

The first reason that I love being a military child is because I like how you get to travel the world for a long time. When you think about it, you have probably been stationed more places and visited more places than any other normal kid. I think it is cool to be able to say that you have been to about 15 different places in your life. Going to a ton of different places and countries is so cool!

Another reason that I like being a military kid is because you get to have a lot of friends. When you think about it, you probably will have over 100 friends while you are a military kid. If you make 15 friends in each place you live and you move to 7 places, you will end up having 105 friends. I think that even if you have to let your friends go, it will be worth it because if you hadn’t met them, you wouldn’t have all those good memories.

My third reason is that you get to experience a lot of different cultures. If you live in different countries for at least a couple weeks, you are already getting to know the culture and heritage behind the place you live in. Now imagine staying at a place for 2-3 years! You would learn so much!

My last reason is that you get to say that you have friends all over the world! You know how if you make 15 friends in 7 different countries you will have 105 friends? Well when those friends move, you will have friends in different places and maybe even continents!

If you can’t tell, I love being a military kid! You get to travel the world! You get to meet a lot of friends. You get to experience a lot of different cultures. Last but not least, you get to say that you have friends all over the world. Being a military kid is definitely worth it!
