I’m waiting for tomorrow

To see if I have to go,

Far far away from the place I call home

Away from the ocean and away from the sea

Away from the place that was so dear to me

Where the world just stopped so I could say goodbye,

But kept going so I could say hi to the new

People I was bound to meet

To the new base and to a new school

To the new friends that I hope to grow close to

So I’ll wait for tomorrow and remember to hold strong

Because I know tomorrow is today
