I say goodbye to all I know

My family, friends, country, and home.

I know I am not allowed to mope,

But who is to say how I am supposed to cope?

I have a feeling of missing someone in my life

I guess I will endure and cope by striving to write.

I miss your touch, your smile, your hugs

Your motherly personality made me feel snug.

I don’t know where to turn or what to do nor

How to fill that void that’s missing you.

Please, I want to see you once more

Soon is too long to meet the one that I adore.
