My experience through diverse landscapes

Growing up in a military household has shifted my way of living. During my childhood in Jacksonville, Florida, I lived in a one-story, off-white house with a huge backyard and a large tree on the left side. The tree had a little swing that would whirl around once a breeze hits. Then we moved to a large city in California where the vibrant energy of the city buzzed around me, exposing towering skyscrapers and bustling streets filled with people from all walks of life. I was surrounded by the sounds of honking cars, excessive chatter, and the occasional street performer. Nearby parks provided a breath of fresh air, and the cultural diversity was visible, with a wide lineup of restaurants offering international cuisines. After a few years in California, my family moved to Yokosuka, Japan, which was a big change because of the cultural differences. Yokosuka is a blend of old and new Japanese culture. I could see wonderful views of Tokyo Bay, huge hills, and scenic parks. We soon moved to Sasebo, in the Nagasaki Prefecture.
