I am fortunate to be a military child because I have been able to live and travel around the world. I am thankful for these experiences. My family and I have spent most of my life all over Japan. We have loved every base here. Something that I don’t like as much is when we move and I have to say goodbye to all my friends. It can be difficult to start over again but I am thankful that I have my family to help me during these hard transitions. The cool thing about moving often is that I get to meet a lot of new people from different places that I never would have met had I not been a military child. I am proud to be a military child and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
