“My parents are bravely serving our community,

In order to keep all of us safe.

They are taking a lot of risks for me and you,

In order to keep us from the war.

I know sometimes they have to go,

And I hope that they come back safe and sound,

My aches and pains go away,

But once they leave it always comes back to me.

But I always feel a sense of pride that I am going to be the hero of the day.

I may be different from now and then,

But that is what all of you said .”
